RE: MARCH 2016 CUBA VISIT- BRING U.S. FUGITIVES HOME TO FACE JUSTICE

Dear Mr. President,

Collectively, we, the tens of thousands of law enforcement officers in the New York and New Jersey region, and our families, implore you to use your executive powers to return U.S. fugitives home to face justice. We plan to alert tourists and visitors going to Cuba to be careful, and watch for the following dangerous individuals wanted by the FBI and local law enforcement for terrorism related crimes against U.S. citizens:

JOANNE CHESIMARD: Convicted of murdering a New Jersey State Trooper and seriously wounding another Trooper in 1973. Given safe haven in Cuba since the mid 1980’s. REWARD is $2 Million.

CHARLIE HILL: Involved in the murder of a New Mexico State Trooper and hijacking of a TWA plane. A known member of a militant group. Harbored in Cuba since the early 1970’s.

WILLIAM MORALES: Convicted bomb maker which killed and maimed dozens of innocent people in the 1970’s. Protected by Cuban government since the late 1980’s. REWARD: $100,000.

VICTOR GERENA: Wanted for role in $7 Million heist that supported anti-U.S. organizations. Living safely in Cuba since the mid 1980’s. REWARD; $1 Million.

Our message to tourists and visitors is to please contact the U.S. Embassy and immediately report their location to assist in the return to U.S. soil to face long overdue justice.

It is our continued mission to ensure that these individuals cannot rest easy, and know that we will not give up on making sure the long arm of justice is served wherever they may be hiding.

Yours sincerely,
