President's Message

Welcome to the State Troopers Fraternal Association of New Jersey website. Our intent with this site is to better inform you as to our purpose and mission.

Dear residents, visitors, and community members,

The State Troopers Fraternal Association of New Jersey (STFA) is the recognized bargaining unit for all rank-and-file New Jersey State Troopers below the rank of Sergeant. We are also the largest New Jersey State Police association, with over 1,900 active members.

The STFA strives to provide the highest standard of service, protection, and integrity to the citizens of New Jersey and our state’s many visitors while supporting our members in their mission as State Troopers.

Our intent with this site is to better inform you as to our purpose and mission.

I will address one of the most frequently asked questions posed to us: The STFA only accepts donations through our nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity, the STFA Foundation, Inc.

We conduct two direct-mail fundraising campaigns each year in the spring and fall. Donations should only be made payable to “STFA Foundation” and sent to 2634 Highway 70, Manasquan, NJ 08736, or through our Foundation website’s Direct Mail Fundraiser link (donate.njtroopers.org).  We do not solicit donations via phone, text, or email.

The STFA Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charity with the State of New Jersey and the IRS, ID# 81-2355552.  All donations are deductible to the extent permitted by law. More information is available at www.stfafoundation.org.

The STFA is an independent and autonomous organization (separate from PBA, FOP, etc.) with an affiliation to the National Troopers Coalition (NTC). We have strong ties with other Law Enforcement groups at the local and national levels.

We hope that your visit to our site is informative and don’t forget to check the related links.  Please feel free to contact us if we can be of any assistance.

Sincerely,

Wayne Blanchard

President
